Divine Loser Dad Cap

$60.00

Designed by Yumi Sakugawa and stitched by Crewel&Unusual (in Richmond, VA), this chartreuse cap with cobalt stitching slaps. Be prepared to explain to strangers standing behind you at the coffee shop what “Failure Theater” means.

A very well-made cap: 100% cotton, with a nylon mesh lining, in colors near-impossible to photograph (I included the playground selfie to try and get close).

My therapist alerted me to the fact that chartreuse (the liqueur) is brewed by monks and based on an alchemical manuscript which included the recipe for an “elixir of long life.” (It’s a great wikipedia read.) And the word “cobalt” comes from “kobold,” which is German for goblin.
